Artemide Mendori LED Table Lamp

Artemide Mendori LED Table Lamp belongs to the IN-EI ISSEY MIYAKE lighting collection, where IN-EI, Japanese for shadow, shadiness, nuance, is expressed through a free-standing folded shade. Designed by Issey Miyake and co-developed and manufactured by Artemide, it applies a process first explored through 132 5. ISSEY MIYAKE, a clothing collection focused on the transformation of cloth from a 3D form to a 2D surface, which was developed using mathematical principles.

The shade is formed from recycled material, and light and shade harmoniously alternate across its surface. An additional surface treatment allows it to keep its shape without the need for an internal frame, and to be re-shaped when needed. It can also be stored flat when not in use, while the 3000K integrated LED gives a warm white light.

Artemide Mendori LED Table Lamp is available in White, with PET, methacrylate, aluminium, and steel construction. Its folded body gives it a sculptural presence on a surface and keeps the material process central to the design. Best suited for side tables, consoles, and quieter living spaces where a table lamp can introduce a softer sculptural form and a warm white glow.
