Artemide Architectural Reeds LED Outdoor Floor Lamp
The Artemide Architectural Reeds LED Outdoor Floor Lamp is a modular landscape luminaire that treats light as part of the planting scheme rather than a separate object. Designed by Klaus Begasse, each base supports a group of slender stems in methacrylate, internally lit by warm 3000K LEDs. The result is a soft, vertical glow that defines paths and edges with minimal glare, working well in gardens, courtyards, hotel grounds and public spaces where a more organic alternative to bollards or poles is required.
Reeds is available in single and triple configurations, in both IP67 and IP68 versions. IP67 models include 220–240 V electronic control gear within the anthracite grey base and are suitable for general exterior use. IP68 models are configured for 24 V dc operation with remote electronic ballast supplied separately, making them suitable for installations close to or within water features, subject to local regulations and correct detailing. All versions deliver a modest light output, designed for orientation and atmosphere rather than high level functional lighting, and feature IK10 impact protection and a long LED service life.
The modular base geometry allows multiple units to interlock, supporting linear runs, curves or clusters that respond to the landscape design. Reeds can be used to mark routes, frame seating areas or animate planting beds without visually dominating the space in daylight. Our trade team can advise on variant selection, driver specification for IP68 models, typical spacings and provide the full set of photometric files and installation documents for specification.
