This variation was adapted for specialist use in aeroplanes to illuminate the navigator’s chart table. Unlike the 1227, the 315 Desk Lamp uses a GU10 spotlight for brighter, focused task lighting. This, paired with a smaller shade, offers a more directional light than any other Anglepoise lamp.
