Thomas Bentzen is a Danish designer, specialising in industrial design. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2003 and founded his own Copenhagen-based studio, Thomas Bentzen Industrial Design, in 2010.
The work of Bentzen emulates Scandinavian design and has been categorised as honest and functional - famous for his use of specialised materials and high-quality craftsmanship. Both prototyping and model-making are crucial elements in his design process, ensuring a high quality final result for his clients.
From 2011 to 2013, Thomas Bentzen was hired as the Design Manager at Muuto before being promoted to Head of Design from 2013 to 2015. He was also the Senior Designer and subsequently Partner at Studio Louise Campbell.
