&Tradition Gio

The &Tradition Gio Collection, designed by Luca Nichetto, takes inspiration from Venetian craftsmanship and translates it into a series of contemporary lighting designs. The original Gio LN14 and LN15 chandeliers use layered spun aluminium shades to form their distinctive conical profiles, with bold combinations of Signal Green, Deep Blue, Vermilion Red, Dark Burgundy, and Ecru White giving each version a strong presence.

Both chandeliers direct light upwards and downwards, while the newer Gio LN28 Floor Lamp develops the same layered shade arrangement into a tall freestanding design. Its spun metal shades direct light upwards, paired with a dark chrome stem and a substantial Emperador marble base. This gives the collection a broader range of uses, from suspended lighting over dining areas to softer illumination from a floor lamp in living spaces.

Across the Gio family, colour and material are treated as part of the shape rather than simply a surface finish. The chandeliers work particularly well as central lighting in dining rooms and larger living areas, while the floor lamp can sit beside seating, in a corner, or within a lounge area where indirect light is preferred.
