Sammode Studio Pierre Guariche

The Sammode Studio Pierre Guariche collection brings back a series of 1950s luminaires by one of France’s most influential post-war designers. Working across wall, floor and ceiling lights, Pierre Guariche developed complete families that could structure an interior, from soft general illumination to precise reading light. Perforated metal louvres, Fresnel glass diffusers and carefully angled shades hide the source and shape the beam, creating comfortable, glare controlled light that feels as at home in contemporary spaces as it did in its original modernist context.

Reissued by Sammode Studio with great care for the original drawings, these designs are now made using contemporary technology and durable materials, while preserving their clear lines and refined proportions. Each luminaire is manufactured and assembled in France, with the same industrial rigour that underpins Sammode’s technical ranges. The result is a coherent family of lights that supports both residential and professional projects, from apartments and townhouses to hotels, galleries and workplaces.
