Sammode Studio Pierre Guariche G3 Wall Light

The G3 wall lamp designed by Pierre Guariche for Sammode Studio is an iconic design from 1951. Giving indirect light diffused through a perforated metal grille, the G3 gives a warm and comfortable light, ideal for a bedside table light or even for lighting a corridor. With the G3 wall lamp the possibilities are endless – it can be installed horizontally or vertically and it also tilts, meaning it is possible to create a unique graphic design and artistic display of light.

Pierre Guariche is one of the most important designers to emerge from France and Sammode Studio has stayed faithful to the original designs whilst incorporating modern technologies. Guariche’s lighting designs were created to be comfortable, convenient and to give an appropriate quality of light whether intended for general lighting or a more specific use which remains the case to this day with all Sammode Studio’s lighting being assembled and packaged at their Châtillon-sur-Saône production plant in the Vosges region of France.
