Marset Cala

Marset Cala Collection is a family of floor lamps and outdoor lights by Joan Gaspar, built around a wide shade held by a simple crossed structure. The design takes reference from a painter’s easel, giving each lamp a clear frame beneath the shade. Across the collection, Cala uses the shade as the main visual form, with the structure kept open and easy to read.

The indoor floor lamp has a varnished oak structure and Pearl White shade, while Cala Metal uses a black iron structure for a cleaner, more neutral version of the same idea. The outdoor floor lamp adapts the design with an Iroko wood structure and a polyethylene shade with a Textilene cover. Each version gives warm, shaded light, making the range useful where a room, terrace, or seating area needs a softer freestanding lamp rather than a fixed fitting.

The Cala collection includes indoor and outdoor versions, with wood and metal structures depending on the model. The outdoor version is IP65 rated, while the indoor lamps are suited to living rooms, bedrooms, lounges, and hospitality interiors. Most suited to living rooms, bedrooms, reading corners, lounges, patios, terraces, garden seating areas, hotels, restaurants, and spaces where a freestanding lamp can bring warm light and a strong but simple silhouette.
