The FJ Elements Collection was initially designed by Finn Juhl in 1963. The collection features a recognisable yet minimalistic design, characterised by geometric shapes and a playful approach to angles. The collection’s name is inspired by Finn Juhl's hand sketches, which he described as being composed of "elements". The FJ Elements series includes a pendant and a table lamp. The core shape of the series is the pendant, but by incorporating what Finn Juhl called a linking element, the lamp can be transformed into a table lamp.
The lampshade comprises two pieces. The lower shade can be rotated, allowing the user to direct light where needed. An opening between the upper shade and the housing allows for a subtle upward directional lighting, which adds ambiance to its surroundings. A removable diffuser creates a soft, glare-free, and uniform illumination, perfect for adding functional lighting to rooms such as an office, lounge, or kitchen. The collection is available in three colourways: the original two-tone grey, black, and white. These bold colours suit a wide range of interiors and are well-suited to minimalistic and contemporary spaces. Display the table lamp and pendant together to create a cohesive theme throughout the home that will add a touch of personality to any space.
