Flos String Light

The Flos String Light collection was designed by Michael Anastassiades in 2014, who was inspired by the electricity cables he could see when travelling by train as well as the concept of architecturally dividing space. Anastassiades found that the way the wires connected between pylons was both poetic and beautiful, and so wanted to replicate this aesthetic through interior design. The String Lights have cables that can be moved by the user, providing 12m of length, creating wondrous and unique lighting solutions in any setting. With the choice of a Sphere or a Cone lampshade and various colours, the String Lights can be used in residential and commercial interiors.

These monochromatic and geometric lighting solutions utilise an aluminium structure that is available in three sleek colours: black, white or blue. These pendants can also be supplied with either a ceiling/wall rose or a floor switch, offering two varying ways to control the illumination. The concealed light source of the Flos String Light is projected downward, with the cone shade offering a more directional glow and the sphere shade providing more evenly diffused lighting.
