Artemide Castore

The Artemide Castore collection features a range of organic minimalistic lighting solutions, designed by Michele De Lucchi & Huub Ubbens. Castore consists of a spherical diffuser which provides a soft glow and fades into a translucent stem, resulting in a smooth transition from light to dark, and makes the entire white structure look as if it is a singular piece. Artemide Castore is available as a table lamp, floor lamp or pendant light, with the table and pendant offering multiple sizes. All applications provide an evenly dispersed ambient illumination, offering a calming atmosphere that is perfect for bedrooms, living rooms and dining spaces.

The Castore collection won the Red Dot Design Awards (2004), the Compasso d'Oro/A.D.I. Segnalazione (2004) and the Design Plus, light + building (2004).
