Artemide Architectural Reeds

Reeds is a modular outdoor luminaire from Artemide that brings a sculptural, landscape driven approach to exterior lighting. Designed by Klaus Begasse, each base carries a group of slender stems that rise from the ground like grasses or aquatic reeds, with integrated LEDs running through clear methacrylate rods. The result is a soft vertical glow that reads more as a luminous planting element than a conventional bollard or stake, ideal where atmosphere and visual impact are as important as basic illumination.

The system is available in IP67 and IP68 versions, with single or triple configurations that can be combined to form larger compositions. The anthracite grey base is designed to sit directly in the landscape and can be tessellated, allowing multiple units to lock together and follow the geometry of paths, edges and planting beds. Each luminaire delivers a gentle 3000K light, providing orientation and visual interest without over lighting the surrounding landscape. With IK10 impact resistance and a long LED service life, Reeds is engineered to withstand demanding external conditions.

Reeds is particularly suited to hotels, resorts, private gardens and public realm projects where lighting needs to perform both functionally and scenographically.
