Basica Minima Table Lamp by Santa & Cole

The first Basica lamp was created in 1987 by Santiago Roqueta and the Santa & Cole design team. Opposite to the trends at the time, which called for metallic tubular structures, the designers chose a more natural material. The wooden body of the lamp was a return to warmth and even today, the lamp is as relevant as ever. In 1994, the Basica Minima was added to the collection and it is the pocket edition of the lamps, with the same robustness and a lighter weight.

A wooden column is balanced with a heavier, metallic base in a nickel or bronze finish which is paired with a natural ribbon or stitched beige parchment shade respectively. An inline dimmer on the cable means you can tailor the light brightness depending on the use and the Basica Minima is the only lamp in the collection that comes with a wider base in a matching metallic colour.
