Warm Nordic Cone Wall Light

The Cone Wall Light was originally designed in 1954 by Danish designer Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen. This design, along with several other of his classic pieces, has been reintroduced by Warm Nordic due to its consistent popularity. This wall light provides direct task lighting with an arm that pivots 180 degrees on its wall mount, while the shade can be pointed in all directions. Ideal for use as a reading light next to a sofa or beside an office table.

The Cone Wall Light is available in solid colour finishes, Warm White and Black Noir, which both feature brass detailing throughout the luminaire. This attention to detail was often seen in Holm-Sørensen’s work, as he had experience as an ornamental metalworker and enjoyed creating pieces that exhibited the beauty of the metal used. The shade also has grooves around the opening that light to escape, creating a glow of around the shade as well as a unique display of light on surrounding walls. This wall light cannot be hardwired into the wall but instead includes a cable and plug. This is a classic feature of Scandinavian wall lamps, which are rarely hardwired.
