Verpan Wire Table Lamp

The decorative Verpan Wire table lamp is defined by the chrome plated steel wire framework that widens at the top to support the white hemispherical plastic shade. This desk lamp was designed by Verner Panton with the aim of challenging the status quo in the interior design industry. By avoiding the mainstream, Verner Panton has created designs which are highly recognisable today as they were 50 years ago.

The Wire desk lamp gives off a calming, soft, ambient light which is emitted from a bulb that is contained in a small hemispherical metal reflector. This Verpan design also comes as a floor lamp, paired together, the Wire collection would add a soft yet industrial feel to any space.
