Working Title HK1 by &Tradition

Harri Koskinen wanted to make a sculpture. Specifically, he wanted to make a sculpture that would fit on a tabletop, with three basic components: a base, a stem, and a shade. Gradually, this purely aesthetic ambition became functional, and Koskinen found that he had designed what &Tradition call ‘the ultimate table lamp of table lamps’ - he calls it Working Title.

Working Title is an elegant, minimalist table lamp made from polished aluminium, the archetypal table lamp, with a base, stem, and shade which are uniform in colour, material, and texture; it is, in a word, simple. For Koskinen, simplicity is synonymous with universality and with versatility, and Working Title is his proof. Its design sits on the line between classic and contemporary that &Tradition have begun to blur, and it’s hard to imagine a modern home or office that wouldn’t benefit from its inclusion. A flexible swivel stem allows you to direct the light, while a dimmer controls the integrated LED light source, giving you the option to choose between bright task lighting for your desk and soft mood lighting for your bedside, or anything in between.

The Working Title LED Table Lamp is available in two finishes, Hand Polished Aluminium, which borders on matte, and a shinier Satin Polished Aluminium.
