Fornell ABF1 Suspension by &Tradition

The first collaboration between &Tradition and designer Andreas Bozarth Fornell, the Fornell ABF1 is a sleek, minimalist suspension light which perfectly exemplifies the Danish brand’s commitment to creating new classics that can sit comfortably alongside the many already iconic designs in their catalogue.

When conceiving of his eponymous lamp, Fornell was primarily inspired by his past life as the resident architect for luxury Swedish fashion house Acne Studios. Taking cues from the way that couturiers balance art with functionality, Fornell designed the ABF1 with a clear goal in mind: to create an object that you can really use, in a form which you can really enjoy.

This simple brief has resulted in a simple design, a single piece of precision-bent stainless steel suspended from the ceiling by two thin, almost invisible wires. The combination of this minimalist construction and the bright, atmospheric light produced by the integrated LED light source make the Fornell ABF1 an attractive addition to any modern kitchen or office space, or of course to the sort of commercial retail environment where Fornell made his name.

The Fornell ABF1 Suspension Lamp is pre-installed with a 1-10V dimmable driver. A DALI and push-dim compatible driver is available for installation upon request. Please contact us for more information.
