The Formakami JH4 is the second of three pendants produced by &Tradition in collaboration with designer Jaime Hayon.
Like the rest of the &Tradition Formakami collection, the JH4 Pendant has the shape of a classic paper lantern with the bottom section removed. Handcrafted from white rice paper, it is adorned with a set of black stained oak rings, a contemporary intervention in its otherwise classical construction. The white colour and delicate material emphasise the lightness of Formakami itself, while the cut-out bottom section allows it to bring maximum lightness to its surroundings by directing light downwards in addition to diffusing it around the room.
Hayon’s mission was to ‘bring even more illumination to people everywhere in the world’ and with Formakami you can bring illumination to every part of your house, office, or retail space, creating a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere without sacrificing brightness. Combine the JH4 with other lights members of the Formakami range for aesthetic consistency and an even spread of light across a large space.
