&Tradtion Blown Pendant

Created by designer Samuel Wilkinson, the Blow pendant was inspired by both lighthouses and raspberries. The resulting design is an intricate play on reflection and refraction that blends traditional form with material innovation. The glass shade is produced using both modern digital technologies and traditional glass-blowing techniques. A metal mould is created using 3D CAD software, giving &Tradition’s team of expert glassblowers total control over the inflation as the shade is skilfully mouth-blown.

The Blown Pendant’s elegant form adds a delicate, ornamental presence, even when not in use. When illuminated, the quilted glass breaks up the light through reflection and refraction, casting a mesmerising play of light and shadow across the surrounding walls. This ambient lighting is perfect in a dining room, bedroom, or living room, creating a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. Display as a standalone feature above a table or worksurface, or install multiples in a row for uniform lighting. In larger spaces, the Blown Pendant can be arranged in clusters to create the appearance of a spectacular glass chandelier, delivering a striking display that leaves a lasting impression.
