The Group of Catalan Architects and Technicians for the Progress of Contemporary Architecture or GATCPAC, was a revolutionary group that was founded in 1930s Spain to see the renovation of Barcelona and the modernisation of architecture in their time. The designer, Josep Torres Clavé, was a founding member of this group and produced this floor lamp as a type of signature that was left by the architects in buildings they created.
After 90 years from when it was first designed the GATCPAC floor lamp celebrates the designer and group with a revamped edit of the light based on Clavé's original plans. The floor light is still thoroughly contemporary, with a chic aluminium finish and sleek silhouette. The lampshade has a beautiful dome shape and is adjustable so you can direct the light where needed. Suitable for a wide variety of settings, the GATCPAC floor light will be a talking point with a rich history and a stunning design.
