Northern Heat Pendant

The Heat Pendant by Northern was designed by Johanna Forsberg. It was born from her experimentations with clashing materials, and the desire to create a pendant around the idea of contrasts. The Heat pendant is characterised by its fiery appearance when illuminated, as the steel mesh creates a play of light and shadows on the shade. When switched off, the pendant appears soft and lighter than air, a cloud suspended in midair.

The Heat Pendant is available in two sizes and two finishes: brass and steel. It can be installed individually or in clusters of varying sizes and colours, making it ideal for larger displays in commercial spaces. Alternatively, it can be displayed individually to create an elegant piece in the home, creating an ambient glow in bedrooms or a living room. Heat is made in collaboration with refugees using modern materials and forward-thinking technologies.
