Northern Acorn Floor Lamp

The Acorn floor lamp by Northern was designed by Norwegian designer Atle Tveit after the popularity of the Acorn pendant. This lamp is a bold statement piece with an iconic silhouette. The design was inspired by Atle Tveit's native Norwegian forests with its strong and sturdy trunk-like stem and the tactile nature of the shade. Resembling an empty acorn shell on the woodland floor, this lamp provides a soft downward light. The large shade and tall stem recreate the feeling of light coming through the canopies of a Norwegian forest. The opal glass diffuser on the underside of the large shade creates a glare-free delicate beam of light that highlights the rounded elegance of the crafted shade.
