Norwegian designer Falke Svatun created the Kantarell Wall/ Ceiling Light for lighting brand New Works. For the Kantarell, Svatun studied various ways of directing light. The trumpet-shaped diffuser acts as a funnel, spreading light from the centre. The flowing curves and soft finishes pair to create an elegant aesthetic and compelling visual impression. The lamp is hardwired and can be mounted on either a wall or a ceiling. Available in two finishes, White/Nickel or White/Black, the Kantarell Wall/ Ceiling Light blends seamlessly into a range of environments, both classic and contemporary.
When illuminated, the funnel shape disperses light, allowing it to diffuse into a soft and uniform glow. This ambient glow is perfect for creating a cosy and welcoming atmosphere in lounge areas, dining rooms, and kitchens. Install in rows to run the length of a hallway and provide uniform lighting. In commercial spaces, the Kantarell Wall/ Ceiling Light is well-suited to hospitality settings, creating a welcoming ambience in hotel lobbies, restaurants, or bars.
