Moooi Perch LED Wall Light

The poetic and playful Perch Wall Light was designed by Umut Yamac for the Dutch company, Moooi. Yamac was inspired by the familiar shapes of birds resting on trees and branches. He experimented with various types of papers before choosing polypropylene paper for the way it diffuses light and the paper’s qualities, which he describes as 'archival'. The bird’s detailing, branch, and wall mount are made of brass painted aluminium, while the integral LED is cleverly hidden from sight.

The Perch wall light is available in two sizes, small (41cm) or large (51cm) and can be bought as a recessed or wall-mounted version. When illuminated, the polypropylene paper bird gently diffuses light into a soft glow while bathing the surrounding wall in light. Display individually or in multiples to create a flock of birds that is bound to draw the eye and ignite the audience's imagination. Install in a sitting room, bedroom, or reading nook to create a cosy sanctuary within the home.

Please note that the wall-mounted version is non-dimmable, while the recessed Perch light is dimmable via 1-10V dimming systems.
