Mater Terra Pendant

The Terra Pendant was created by OEO Studio exclusively for David Village Lighting. The studio's passion for sustainability has made this a significant collaboration and has allowed them to create Matek™, the ecological material that the Terra is made from. Matek™ is made from post-consumer e-waste which is mixed with coffee waste or wood waste, resulting in a material that is not only rich in colour, but also environmentally friendly. The material’s qualities allow for a seamless integration of joints and technical elements, giving the Terra a clean and minimalistic profile.

The Terra Pendant has a striking silhouette whether illuminated or not and the simplicity of the design give it versatility, allowing it to suit a range of decors. The clean lines convey a contemporary appearance, while the earthy, muted tones would feel at home in a more vintage and rustic interior. The solid material of the shade directs light downward, perfect for illuminating a coffee table or kitchen island, or for commercial spaces such as above restaurant tables or bars. Display individually or as multiples, running the length of a hallway. Combine with the wall light or table light from the Terra Collection to create a consistent display within your home.
