Marset The W LED Suspension

Marset The W LED Suspension is a large adjustable chandelier by PerezOchando, designed for spaces that need a broad, flexible spread of light. The fitting is built around a black vertical shaft, with fourteen rods extending from the centre. Each rod carries a suspended spotlight, allowing the overall shape of the chandelier to be opened out or folded in depending on the space below.

The design takes inspiration from an old winding machine, used to wind thread or wire around an axis. For The W, the reference is more about movement and outline than the machine’s original purpose. Some rods can be moved upwards to expand the light, while others can be angled downwards to concentrate it over a table, work surface, or seating area. Fully opened, the fitting reaches a wide diameter for larger rooms. Folded in, it focuses the light across a smaller area while keeping its graphic chandelier shape.

The W is made from aluminium with aluminium and polycarbonate diffusers, and is available in Black with Gold, Ivory, or Terracotta inner rings. Each inner finish affects the reflection inside the spotlight, giving a slightly different tone to the light. The integrated 2700K LED gives warm light and is dimmable using leading-edge and trailing-edge dimming. Most suited to dining rooms, large kitchen islands, meeting tables, hotel lobbies, restaurants, bars, and commercial interiors where a large adjustable suspension can provide both presence and useful light.
