Louis Poulsen Panthella Originals 500 Floor Lamp

Louis Poulsen Panthella Originals 500 Floor Lamp retains the expressive, yet soft contour of Verner Panton’s 1971 Panthella design, where both the stand and shade serve as reflectors. The resulting non-glaring light provides atmospheric illumination while preserving the distinctive relationship between the hemispherical shade and trumpet-shaped base.

The Panthella Originals 500 Floor Lamp is available in Original Opal Blue Grey, Original Opal Orange, Original Opal Red, Original Opal Brown, and Original Opal Green. Each version combines a high-gloss, injection-moulded acrylic shade with high-lustre chrome-plated detailing, continuing the use of intense colour associated with Panton’s design universe.

Created as part of Louis Poulsen’s celebration of the 100th anniversary of Verner Panton’s birth, the Originals collection returns Panthella to a more expressive colour palette while retaining its original lighting principle. Both the shade and base contribute to the reflected light, maintaining the soft, non-glaring character of the original design. Best suited to interior settings requiring soft, non-glaring atmospheric illumination.
