Louis Poulsen PH 1/1 Piano Limited Edition 2026 Table Lamp revives Poul Henningsen's early-1930s piano lamp in a more compact form using PH 1/1 shades. Henningsen, himself a keen composer, developed the original to provide adjustable light for piano players, using a long curved stem and a spherical counterweight to keep the lamp balanced as its position changed. The 2026 edition retains this distinctive construction, pairing the curved aged-brass frame with Dusty Terracotta glass.

The PH 1/1 shades follow the principles of Henningsen's System PH, shielding the light source and providing comfortable, glare-free illumination. Four-layered, mouth-blown coloured glass gives the light a warm, tranquil character, while the white inner surface helps to soften its output. The adjustable stem allows the light to be directed where it is needed, and the lamp's smaller proportions make it useful beyond the piano, including on a desk, bedside table, console, or windowsill.

The aged brass is brushed with fine hairlines and lacquered to preserve its finish, accompanied by a dark brown textile cable and an integrated on/off switch. This non-dimmable, plug-in table lamp is available as a Limited Edition for 2026, bringing one of Henningsen's lesser-known functional designs back into production for contemporary interiors. Most suited to pianos, home offices, reading areas, bedrooms, and living spaces where adjustable local light is useful.
