Le Klint Lamella 1 Pendant

The Lamella collection was created by design duo Hallgeir Homstvedt and Jonah Takagi. They were inspired by the intricate folds found on the underside of a mushroom (lamellae) which is where the pendants get their name. This organic-looking structure is created by hand-folding plastic foil, a craft synonymous with Le Klint. Simple yet intricate, Le Klint has gone back to the old, handcrafted technique called PLICA to produce this collection.

The Lamella 1 pendant diffuses light into a soft glow that surrounds the shade. This lighting is a perfect addition to shared communal spaces such as a living room or dining room, creating a calming and relaxed atmosphere. Ornate metal detailing, available in aluminium or brass, adds a subtle elegant touch to the pendant. In larger rooms or commercial spaces, the Lamella 1 pendant can be installed with other pieces from the Lamella Collection to create a captivating display.
