Designed by Fumie Shibata, the Maluma Pendant takes its name from the Japanese word Malu, which means round and complete. Made from frosted glass, the lampshade is hand-blown and has soft, rounded edges, which produce a beautiful and easy-going silhouette. The stem that holds the glass is made from aluminium, which is a nice pairing to create a chic and stylish design.

The glass shade means it adds a pop of colour when turned off and then becomes more translucent when turned on, warming up the space. The pendant light produces a nice, diffused glow and also provides a downward-directed light thanks to the opening in the bottom of the lampshade.
