The Yasuke table lamp was designed by Studio BrichetZiegler and is part of the 2021 range from DCW éditions. The table lamp is named after the first foreign-born samurai warrior, Yasuke, who arrived in Kyoto, Japan in 1579 after travelling from his homeland in Africa. As Yasuke travelled the oceans, this lamp brings a journey of light, providing soft tones to the brightness of the sun.
The Yasuke table light has an integrated LED which can be controlled by two rotating switches: one that controls the brightness and one that controls the colour temperature from 2700K (warmest white) to 3400K (cooler white). This allows you to emulate the brightness of the day inside, providing comforting and awakening hues suited to your needs. The intriguing and modern aesthetic makes this table light a truly contemporary piece and will be a staple of 21th century design.
