Brokis Whistle Pendant.

The Brokis Whistle Pendant Light, designed by Lucie Koldova, draws direct inspiration from the traditional glassmaker’s blowpipe, affectionately known as a "whistle" in Czech. Its handblown glass body captures the motion of light as it travels through space, forming a delicate cone-like silhouette that showcases both technical clarity and visual warmth. At its centre sits a hand-pressed metal reflector, acting as the heart of the design, diffusing a focused beam of light with soft, ambient edges.

The Whistle’s exposed cable winds visibly through the interior of the glass, adding a raw, industrial character to its otherwise refined form. Available in two sizes and multiple finishes, the pendant can be used solo or in clustered arrangements to dramatic effect. It’s ideal for stairwells, kitchens, and dining spaces, where it can act as a sculptural focal point while providing warm, functional lighting. Since 2018, all Whistle pendants have featured integrated Brokis connectors, making installation and maintenance simple and efficient.
