Artemide Tolomeo Reading Floor Lamp embodies the balance between functionality and aesthetics that has defined Tolomeo since 1987. Designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, it keeps the clean and minimalist lines of the collection, with an aluminium and steel structure that gives the lamp both lightness and robustness.

Its articulated arm system remains central to the design, using the same innovative spring mechanism that allows the lamp to be adjusted in height and tilt with notable flexibility. In the Reading Floor version, the structure is distinguished by a single joint with a longer lower arm, giving it a different proportion from Tolomeo Floor and Micro Floor while keeping the same precise and controlled movement. The longer lower arm and floor structure make it especially useful where a directed light is needed beside seating or within a work area.
