Artemide Eclisse Table Lamp

The Artemide Eclisse Table Lamp was designed by eminent designer and architect Vico Magistretti in the 1960s. The design won the Compasso d'Oro award in 1967 and has been the avant-garde equilibrium between design and utility. The lamp is available in various vivid colour choices: yellow, white, orange or red, further reflecting the '60s influence.

Eclisse combines classic design with functionality and invites the user to interact with the design. By rotating the inner shade, the user can easily adjust the intensity and direction of the illumination, resembling an eclipse, which is where the design got its name. By having two shades, a fixed outer and a rotatable inner, you can choose to have a direct or diffused light. The Eclisse Table Lamp is a staple for the Italian brand and is part of the permanent exhibition in various design museums around the world, including MoMA.
