Artek A808 Floor Lamp


Designed by Alvar Aalto in 1955 for the National Pensions Institute in Helsinki, the Artek A808 floor lamp exemplifies Aalto's mastery of lighting design. The hand-turned shade is composed of lacquered metal strips, arranged in concentric circles, creating a sculptural form that diffuses light beautifully and prevents glare.

This timeless design is available in two finishes: a striking brass shade or a clean white shade, both paired with a black leather-covered stand and polished brass collar. Perfect for residential and commercial settings, the A808 adds a touch of modern sophistication to any interior, offering a soft, ambient glow.
