Teruhiro Yanagihara is a Japanese designer who established his studio in 2002, working across furniture, textiles, tableware, and lighting. His work takes an intuitive approach to everyday objects, with an interest in the warmth associated with Scandinavian living and in moving beyond conventional creative approaches.
Yanagihara has worked with international design and manufacturing brands, and his work forms part of permanent collections at the National Centre for Fine Arts in Paris and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. His first collection for &Tradition, Numbra, was introduced in 2026 and explores the simple form of the straight line through oak, aluminium, and integrated light.
