Space Copenhagen

Formed in 2005, Space Copenhagen was founded by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rutzou, but now consists of a large diverse and skilled team. The design studio classes its style as poetic modernism, and see curiosity as a fundamental human condition, each team member at Space Copenhagen shows a meticulous attention to detail, and a steady focus on refining design ideas across disciplines. Henriksen and Rutzou aim to balance opposites, with a focus on quality and longevity, they utilise high-quality materials and cover multiple disciplines; including lighting, furniture, interior design and even art installations.

Space Copenhagen harbour a strong attention to detail and curate beautifully modern lighting solutions that adjust to a wide range of interiors. They have worked with a range of brands including Gubi, Mater and &Tradition; their work includes floor lamps, table lamps, portable lamps and pendants.
