Nick Ross

Nick Ross is a Stockholm-based, Scottish designer who specialises in furniture and homeware design. In 2026, Ross created his first lighting collection, Concave, which marked the designer’s first collaboration with lighting brand Pholc. The series beautifully reflects his approach to design, where he refines and redefines simple shapes that combine sculptural ideas with industrial ideas. Through minimal yet considered forms, Ross’s designs offer a calming essence to interiors that define the space.

Nick Ross was born in Scotland in 1986. After creative studies, he studied at Konstfack, the country’s leading university in arts, crafts, and design, before working for furniture designer and architect Matti Klenell. In 2014, Nick Ross founded his own studio, where he has since collaborated with notable brands such as Audo, Niko June, and +Halle. He has received numerous awards, including the Muuto Talent Award 2014 and Formex Nova 2016.
