Jonah Takagi & Hallgeir Homstvedt are both renowned designers who frequently collaborate on projects. They first met in 2011 when they were both exhibiting work at the Salone Satellite in Milan. They discussed the idea of working on designs together which resulted in several successful projects including the Lamella Collection they created for lighting brand Le Klint.
Jonah Takagi studied Furniture Design at the Rhode Island School of Design, where he received a BFA. As well as design, he is passionate about music and spent years as a touring musician after graduating. In 2010 he founded his design studio where he has created pieces for notable brands such as Roll & Hill, Matter, Kvadrat, La Chance, Ishinomaki Lab, and Hem.
Hallgeir Homstvedt graduated from Newcastle University in Australia with BA of Industrial Design. After completing his degree in 2006, Homstvedt worked with highly esteemed studio Norway Says before opening his studio in 2009. His portfolio includes pieces he’s created for Lexon, Muuto, L.K.Hjelle and Established & Sons.
