Verpan Spiral

The Verpan Spiral is a unique design, formulated by Verner Panton in 196. Consisting of a series of suspension lights, Spiral combines a multitude of ABS plastic silver-plated 'spirals' which create an abstract diffuser around the light source. This modern collection is not only a great example of Panton’s experimental approach to colours and shapes, but also a study in how an object can interact with its surroundings through reflection, sound and movement. This experimentation comes from a desire to 'try to show new ways to encourage people to use their fantasy and make their surroundings more exciting'
