Luceplan Malamata

The Luceplan Malamata collection launched in 2021 and was designed by Studio Schulab. With both founders growing up in Israel, the Malamata is named after the Hebrew meaning of 'up and down', which aptly describes the function of the light. These products feature a beautiful glass shade which is counterweighted by a metal sphere. Thanks to sophisticated mechanics, this sphere allows the user to move the glass lampshade up and down. By pushing the button on top of the sphere, a spring is released and the counterweight is free to slide on the stem, allowing you to personalise the height and position of the light's diffuser.

The innovative design of the Luceplan Malamata lighting solutions is available in a range of colours and sizes. The collection can be used as a main light or over tables and surfaces for a beautiful, diffused glow that is effective and warm.
