Sinja Svarrer Damkjær first has the idea for The Bouquet Collection whilst on a study trip in Italy. The collection symbolises the designer's observation of flower handlers in a local Italian market. Damkjær was fascinated as she watched how the tulips were bunched together and loosely tied. The flower heads hung downwards, which created the idea for the natural soft curve of the collection.
The natural and minimal materials used for the Bouquet Collection highlight the organic tone of the design. Each lampshade has been intricately pleated by hand in Le Klint's pleating studio in Odense, Denmark. The cords are all braided in linen to enhance the organic tone of the lights and the soft expression of how the flower petals hang in the spring. Each piece is available with a plastic foil shade or a paper shade. The plastic foil shade is fire-retardant and UV-resistant. The paper shade is made in Germany following Le Klint's strict standards. Over time, the paper will patinate and develop a golden hue. The collection consists of four pendants, a table lamp, and a floor lamp.
