Le Klint 101

The 101 Collection was first designed by Kaare Klint in 1944. The collection is an excellent example of the craftsmanship and innovative design that goes into making a Le Klint lamp. Each shade is made from plastic foil that is hand-folded in Le Klint’s pleating studio – a technique that takes years to master. Where available, there is also an option for a paper shade. The plastic foil shade is durable, easy to clean, and fire-resistant. The paper shade will patinate over time and develop a golden hue to its white colour.

The 101 Collection includes a small, medium, large, and extra-large pendant. The extra-large pendant is available with a steel or brass detail at the top of the shade, an ornamental element that adds a touch of elegance to the pendant. The enclosed shade offers a glare-free light from every angle, making the 101 well-suited to hanging high above dining or conference tables. Install a single pendant in the centre of a room or, for larger spaces, a grand display can be created when installing the 101 in multiples, altering in sizes and drop height.
