Designed by Ferrucio Laviani, the Kartell Tea collection features abstract lighting solutions crafted from recycled thermoplastic technopolymer. Tea boasts a form resembling two hands cupped together, appearing to hold the light source in their palm with the illumination escaping upwards and out through the gaps in the shade. The result is a warm and cosy ambient illumination that creates playful shadows on the nearby surfaces and means the Kartell Tea works extremely well as a lighting solution in living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas.
The Tea range features a wall light and table lamp, both of which are available in four subtle finishes, allowing them to adapt to various interior styles. These lamps combine functionality and sustainability, while Laviani proves that it is possible to utilise modern-day materials to achieve a natural and fragile look - just like more classic and delicate materials such as glass or ceramics.
