Kartell Generic

The Kartell Generic collection was designed by Phillipe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet, who aimed to focus on minimalism and produce a range of seating that used only the essential form. For this range, the duo wanted to create a range of seating that makes an impact in larger commercial spaces such as restaurants and hotels. Crafted from polypropylene, the Generic collection can be utilised in indoor and outdoor settings, perfect for the commercial environments they were designed for or for evenings spent relaxing in your residential garden or around your dining table.

Generic is available in two options, either Generic A or Generic C, both of which utilise simple lines with an elegant silhouette that is available in various muted and pastel finishes. The chairs are stackable, providing an easy way to store them. The Generic C stands for Cafe Chair, and the Generic A for Armchair - offering a more relaxed model.
