Kartell FL/Y

The Kartell FL/Y collection has been described as a 'bubble of light', offering suspension lights in a wide range of bright colours and providing a burst of playfulness to your space. Kartell FL/Y was designed by Ferrucio Laviani in 2002 and soon became a classic Kartell luminaire. Each FL/Y light boasts a PMMA shade, which is not perfectly hemispherical and is cut slightly below the central line, resulting in a greater concentration of light. The light source produces a direct downward illumination, which reflects through the shade diffuser and produces luminous reflections.

Kartell FL/Y is a timeless design that creates a unique and elegant atmosphere in any room. The clear lines and translucent colours make the lamps an indispensable accessory in every living room, dining space or office. Similarly, it can be utilised in larger commercial spaces and is a beautiful example of classic 1960s design.
