HAY Twist

HAY’s Twist family explores poise, balance, and the quiet theatre of movement. Centred on a sculptural uplighter that rises or lowers with a simple pull of the central shaft, Twist changes posture to suit the task, from low level glow to a tall, room-lifting presence. The soft upward wash builds ambience without glare, ideal for open plan living, lounge corners, and collaborative workspaces.

The design is technically refined, with a smart extending mechanism enabling you to adjust the height. Finished in coated metals with a sand cast iron weight hidden in the base, Twist pairs everyday resilience with a clean, minimal silhouette that slips into modern, eclectic, or classic interiors.

Conceived by French designer Romain Sillon, Twist embodies a craft led, workshop minded approach to mechanics. The result is lighting that feels calm and intuitive to use, with a warm, comfortable glow that layers beautifully with pendants, wall lights, and task lamps across lighting schemes.
