HAY Ava

The HAY Ava collection is a contemporary take on the archetypal lampshade, designed by Ana Kraš and crafted from ECOPET, a recycled PET material with a paper like translucency. High contrast fabric piping defines the edges, lending graphic precision to gentle forms that glow with soft, even light. The collection spans table, pendant, and wall lamps for easy layering throughout the home.

What began as an impromptu studio experiment with wire, paper, and textile tape has evolved into a considered family of lighting with a quiet presence. Ava’s warm diffusion suits bedside tables, shelving, hallways, dining spaces, and living rooms, where comfort and clarity are equally important. The design welcomes retrofit LED bulbs for simple, low energy upkeep.

Available in calm, neutral finishes, The HAY Ava collection integrates seamlessly with a range of palettes and materials, from pale timber and stone to colour rich textiles. It is approachable design with a refined point of view, using recycled materials without compromising tactility or character.
