Bert Frank Tanto

The Bert Frank Tanto collection takes its name from the traditional Japanese tanto sword, drawing on its elegant proportions and sense of balance to create a distinctive series of contemporary wall lights. Characterised by slender, asymmetric brass rods and cylindrical opal glass diffusers, Tanto combines a minimal architectural silhouette with an appreciation for traditional materials. At the centre of each design is a shield that holds the elements together, available in polished marble or textured sand-cast brass. The contrast between these materials introduces depth and character without compromising the simplicity of the overall form.

Available in Small, Large, and Double configurations, the Tanto collection offers a flexible approach to decorative and ambient wall lighting. Its slender proportions make it particularly suitable for narrow wall spaces, bedside arrangements and hallways, while the Double version introduces a more substantial composition with two illuminated glass elements. With a selection of brass finishes and warm, dimmable LED lamps, Tanto can be used individually or in repeated arrangements throughout residential and hospitality interiors.
