Axolight Nelly

The Nelly Collection was created by Manuel Vivian for Axolight. For this series, Vivian explores the way light can be used to enhance the mood of any environment. As well as adding functional lighting to a room, the Nelly creates a warm and cosy ambience. Each grand structure, available in two sizes, is crafted from a metal frame, covered in an elasticated fabric. This contrast between durable metal and soft fabric creates a harmonious visual experience.

The Nelly Collection includes a round and straight lamp, which can be installed on a ceiling or wall. The structure sits flush to the surface it sits on, making it suitable for spaces with low ceilings. When illuminated, the light is diffused through the fabric cover, creating a warm, gentle glow that surrounds the lamp. This ambient glow is perfect for creating a comfortable ambience in a bedroom, dining room, or lounge area. In larger spaces, impressive installations can be formed using multiple lights, varying in size and shape. In commercial spaces, the Nelly Collection can be used in hotels to create a welcoming atmosphere.
